Early this morning one suspect in this week’s deadly Boston Marathon bombing was killed in a shootout with police in Watertown, Mass. Police said “Suspect 2″ is on the loose and is armed and dangerous. “Suspect 2″ is the target of an “active search by tactical teams,” police said.
Police also released a new image of “Suspect 2,” which they said was taken from a local 7-11 in Cambridge, Mass., last night.
The Monday bombing near the finish line of the Boston Marathon killed three people and injured more than 170. Thursday evening the FBI released images of the two suspects in the case.
