Palestinian medical sources have reported that four more Palestinians, including an infant, have been killed in a fresh wave of Israeli strikes targeting civilian homes in different parts of the Gaza Strip.
The sources said that Mo’ayyad al-‘Araj, 2, has been killed, and eleven Palestinians have been injured when the army fired missiles into a home belonging to the Salama family, in Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.
In addition, a Palestinian child identified as Husam Ibrahim Najjar, 14, was killed by an Israeli missile that struck a home in Jablia town, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.
An elderly woman, identified as Hijaziyya al-Hilu, 80, was killed under the rubble of her home, after the property was struck by an Israeli missile in the Shujeyya neighborhood, in Gaza city. Her body was located on Sunday, at dawn.
Another woman, identified as Huwaida Abu Harb, 44, died of wounds suffered when the army bombarded the Central District in Gaza.
Soldiers also fired a missile into the National Islamic Bank, the Salah Ed-Deen Mosque in Gaza City, while five Palestinians have been injured when a home was struck with an Israeli missile in Zawayda area.
Israeli missiles have also struck the English Graveyard in Deir al-Balah, in central Gaza.
Meanwhile, four Israeli soldiers were injured when the army tried to invade the Sudaniyya area through the shore, northwest of Gaza city. According to Maan News, the army said the Palestinian fighters clashed with soldiers attempting to destroy what was described as a “launching pad”.
